Reasons why i love the month of October:
- There's Children's day! - Yes, i know i'm way over-age to be celebrating this day of fun but there's a little child inside everyone of us, no? We run to our parents when we're sad/hurt. We play silly games. We still hope Santa Claus exists. And admit it, we'd still cry like a baby sometimes. I think kids nowadays are growing up too damn fast for their own good. Kids are suppose to be the kings and queens of being awesome. So why can't we celebrate what we once were, and still a tiny bit are?
- Fall begins (in some parts of the world)! Granted i've only experience all but one autumn so far, nonetheless, whenever i think of October, i think of autumn and the golden leaves, perfect moderate weather, quiet serenity of falling leaves. Ahhh... i miss Vancouver.

- Rainy season in JB! - Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain~ over the roof, on the windows and all around! What's not to love about the comfy feeling of rain enveloping us like a soft cottony blanket accompanied by the pitter patter of rainfall?

- Oktoberfest! - Have u ever heard of January/May/August/watevermonthfest?! Nope. Don't think so. This shows just how much October is worth celebrating. lol. Now, if only i'm in Germany. Nor Nor!! Can i follow u in ur luggage please?

- World FOOD Day! Yeah! United Against Hunger is this year's theme. We often overlook the little things in life like a simple cup of Milo, or a piece of roti canai, or even a grain of rice. We are too fortunate to realise what it feels like to be hungry even for a day, while disasters strike across the globe lately. Imagine, what it feels like to be hungry children all alone in the world. So instead of having a McValue meal this month, how about donating that money for a better cause?

- Breast Cancer Awareness Month - crucial for all ladies and guys. Yes, u heard me. Guys. Though far less common, it is possible for men to develop breast cancer. Breast cancer accounts for 40,000 deaths a year. Stats may show that heart diseases is the leading killer among women, but that's for those aged 60 and above! Breast cancer is actually the #1 cancer in women between the ages of 20 and 59. Which is why ladies, we should pay attention to early detection. I love how as female groups around the world come out in pink force, various landmarks will be in Pink too! Sweet! =)
