And it's not me saying this. Never in the past 3 months working as a technical writer have i ever felt that way, till today! All thanks to Barney, who showed me the "light". lol.
According to Investopedia in this article, this daily 8.30-5.30 job that i dread waking up to and yet live for every weekday is actually a high-paying, low-stress job! *woots* =D
You know how it goes after graduation... Everyone and anyone starts coming up to you with just ONE thing in mind:
WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?
It was a torture then, when i was jobless after uni; and still a pain in the neck even after getting a job. =.=" Every time I try to satisfy someone's eager question about my current status after my long awaited graduation, i get a puzzled look or sound in return! gah...
So today, once and for all i'm gonna copy and paste, yes i'm doing plagiarism in broad daylight, to officially introduce my über-cool career (at the moment) in a nutshell.

Technical Writer
In this high-tech age, new groundbreaking tools, mobile devices or innovative gadgets are released on practically a daily basis. Obviously, someone has to write about these ingenious doodads and complicated thingamabobs. That's where technical writers come into play.
Although they sometimes face tight deadlines, technical writers typically enjoy flexible hours and a comfortable, quiet workspace. Quite a few of them have an enviable 10-second commute - from their bedroom to their desk. Because all they need is a phone and a computer with an internet connection, many technical writers work from home. (If only i had that kinda luxury. haha..)
What's more is that technical writers are extremely high in demand. As technical companies continue to release pioneering new products, someone has to transform their complex technical-ese into everyday language the average customer can comprehend. Technical writers generally earn between $47,000-98,000 a year.

And so, after reading this, I'm now totally hyped and have decided to stick to my current job till i can get into the other high-paying, low-stress jobs (i.e.: Physical therapist, Computer software engineer, Civil engineer, or a Massage therapist!) hehehe. =D Obviously, that's bullcrap, cos I can never ever be an engineer to save my life. Maybe a massage therapist?! hmmm... lol.
Well folks, that's all i have for today. Got to head to bed now to avoid falling asleep on the job tmr. Note to self: i love my job, i love my job, i love my job. =)
